 Removing a large part of the stomach to reduce its capacity, or what is known as sleeve gastrectomy. This type blocks the amount of food without interfering with the digestive process. It is the most physiological process for treating severe obesity due to its low risk and high success rate.
 Gastric Bypass: This type interferes with the amount of food as well as the process of digestion and absorption of food, and leads to a deficiency in some vitamins and iron, which requires the patient to be provided with them for life.
